This is my 1940's era 6L6G slatboard transmitter and power supply project.
The transformer has secondaries at 385v, 6.3v and 5v.
The rectifier tube is a 5Y3G.
The picture below shows my wiring job. I tried to only use vintage era parts, down to the cloth covered wires.
This picture shows the 6L6GC made in China tube from AES - Antique Electronic Supply
That tube was advertised as a ST type, but wasn't what the type I wanted.
